How much does a website cost in Jordan?
Raqam Studio quotes each project individually rather than working from a fixed price list, because the same brief can differ several times over in scope. Four things move the number most: how many genuinely distinct page layouts the site needs, as opposed to repeated ones; whether it has to work in both Arabic and English, which is closer to designing two interfaces than translating one; whether photography, illustration, or a brand identity has to be produced rather than supplied; and whether the build is a marketing site or a custom web application with real functionality behind it. Prices across the Jordanian market vary widely — a template-based site from a freelancer sits well below custom design and development work. How long does it take to build a website?
Most Raqam Studio projects run two to four weeks from kickoff to launch. A brand identity on its own is usually toward the shorter end, a full site with bilingual content toward the longer. The schedule depends more on how quickly feedback and content come back from the client than on the design and build itself, so projects where the copy is ready in advance tend to finish sooner.
Does Raqam Studio work with clients outside Jordan?
Yes. Raqam Studio is based in Amman and works remotely with clients internationally. The studio operates in English and Arabic, and time zone differences are handled by working asynchronously, with scheduled calls at each project milestone rather than daily meetings.
Can Raqam Studio build a website in both Arabic and English?
Yes, and it is a specific capability rather than an add-on. Bilingual work means more than translated text: right-to-left layouts mirror the interface, navigation and iconography flip direction, Arabic typography needs typefaces chosen for their Arabic forms rather than a Latin face with fallback glyphs, and line height and letter spacing have to be set separately for each script. Raqam Studio designs and builds both directions as one system.
What is included in a brand identity project?
A Raqam Studio brand identity covers a logo and its variants, a colour palette with defined usage, a typographic system, and written brand guidelines that explain how to apply all of it. Where a project includes both branding and a website, the two are designed together rather than handed from one stage to the next, so the site is the identity's first real application instead of an interpretation of it.
Does the studio design only, or design and build?
Both. Raqam Studio designs the interface and builds the production site, typically with Next.js and React. Clients receive a working, deployed site rather than design files to hand to a separate developer, which removes the stage where design intent is usually lost.
What does Raqam Studio need from a client to start?
An idea of what the business does, who it is for, and what the site has to accomplish. Copy, photography, and a fixed brief are helpful but not required at the start — shaping those is part of the work. The first conversation is a scoping call to establish whether the project is a fit, and there is no charge for it.
How do I start a project with Raqam Studio?
